'Siracusa is Professor of Human Security and International Diplomacy and Deputy Dean, Global and Language Studies, in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies at RMIT.
He previously served as an elected member of the CHASS board and as its secretary, as well as sitting on CHASS’s Australia Book Prize jury for the best non-fiction book that enriches Australia’s cultural and intellectual life.
Siracusa said: “My vision for CHASS is to include arts (broadly defined) in the renewed debate for greater STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education at every level.
“In short, I aim to contribute to the building of the case for the inclusion of STEAM into the national debate.”'
